Amanda here,

This is the chaotic home of a colour-addicted and constantly learning artist based in Ely Cambridgeshire.  You are very welcome.

Yellow Dahlia

This cute yellow dahlia painting went to a new home over the weekend. It’s only 15cm square, a very satisfying format to showcase one beautiful thing.

The new owner is a maker of beautiful one-off jewellery pieces.

Thank you Cara loves Gomez

Palestine in Colour

A project for the last two months of 2025 to represent my idea of Palestine in small gouache paintings. I named this project #palestine_in_colour, in the hope other people might pick up the idea.

Every painting will appear on this blog post.

You can also follow on my Instagram page.

My paintings, mostly from the last six years. They are full of colour, life and a sense of place.

Blog

I write articles about paintings I am working on, what inspired them and sometimes how they are made.

An introduction to Amanda Earlam, the painter, and what makes me tick (mostly a love of colour and setting a scene in which you can lose yourself).
