My painting projects and their inspiration
These blog posts are each about a particular project and the idea or place that inspired it.
In addition, at some point I plan to write about other artists and how their work inspires mine.Â
Moreover, painting my passion for, therefore each piece refers to something I fell in love with. I hope you will feel this too. For example, surely many others will love the rich orange flesh of a cut pumpkin, contrasting its ridged green skin, as you will see in one of the six-inch paintings. It is also possible that an artist colleague will have experience of exploring similar ideas, colours and mediums (yes, we do say “mediums”, not “media”.
